Calendar
The Hamilton County Genealogical Society is a
non-profit organization.
Part of its mission to to provide educational opportunities to its members and the public
of southwestern Ohio. As such, a considerable part of its budget is allocated
to bring nationally known experts to speak on topics of interest to its
members. Some programs are co-sponsered with The Public Library of Cincinnati
and Hamilton County and the Ohio Genealogy Society.
These programs are open to the general public at no charge. We encourage non-members to join
the society to enable us to continue to fund such programs.
The Lineage Society Luncheon and the annual April Seminar are events where a payment is required.
Because of its rapid development in the 1800's, people living in Indiana, Kentucky and Southwestern Ohio
had strong ties to Hamilton County. You should assume Cincinnati residents had cousins in all surrounding counties.
Researchers are encouraged to contact societies in the tri-state area and their programs. Our Blog contributors
