The HCGS German Special Interest Group (German SIG) will hold an informal question and answer program on Thursday, April 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at the North Central Regional Library on Hamilton Avenue just south of I-275. The meeting room is to the left inside the main entrance to the Library.
There is no program starting time. You may come and go as you wish. YOU could be the person with the answer to a member’s questions. We will take turns asking and answering questions about reading old German script, how to find out where our German ancestors came from, useful German resources, etc.
The moderator will be HCGS President Kenny Burck (the German SIG Chair), who will bring several Germanrelated genealogy books and maps that may provide some assistance with your research questions. Phone or email Kenny with any questions before or after the program at kburck1948@gmail.com or 513-260-0238.
The North Central Regional Library was chosen for this meeting as it holds most or all of the HCGS books. All HCGS books are also located at the Anderson Township, Madeira, and Green Township libraries, and the downtown Main Library.
