RESEARCH SERVICES

Research Services are available through The HCGS Research Committee.  The Committee  will search HCGS publications and a surname card file. 

Marriage and Death Notices

·         Death Notice look-up from the database site for a fee of 50 cents per name for members and $ 1.00 per name for non-members.  Maximum of 10 names per request and 2 requests per month. All requests MUST be accompanied by ONE business-sized, self addressed stamped envelope for 1 - 5 names and TWO business-sized, self addressed stamped envelopes for 6 - 10 names. 

Bibliographic Search

·         A search will be limited to the name of ONE ancestor for ONE HOUR of research time for a fee of $10.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members

·         There is a maximum of two ancestors per request per month

·         All Research Requests must be submitted via the Postal Mail.  To do so, you must use the online form which is linked below.  

·         All requests must be accompanied by a business-sized self addressed stamped envelope for .  EACH name requested.  

·         Due to the popularity of this service please allow 8 to 12 weeks for processing and possibly even longer. 

  • Payment should be made by check.
