You can use either one of the following two methods:
  • Use our Online/PayPal Membership Form to submit your membership form electronically and pay instantly via PayPal.  You can use a credit card with PayPal even if you do not have a PayPal account.  This is the fastest way to submit your membership form and payment.
  • Print out the Membership Application form, fill it in manually, and submit it along with your dues payment to the following address, or you can save the Membership Application form to your computer or mobile device, open the form from there and type in the info, save it again for your own copy, and then print and submit along with your dues payment to the address below. NOTE: If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser you can type your info into the form before you save it to your computer or mobile device.

The membership year is the calendar year. Dues are payable by January 1 and delinquent on February 1.

Life Members are continued on the HCGS roll as memorials after their death. Life Membership revenues are held in an endowment fund. Fund use is not restricted and follows non-profit organization guidelines. Life Memberships help HCGS preserve genealogical information by offsetting the expenses associated with 
publishing indexes. These indexes are made available to the public for generations to come.

New members joining before September 1 receive all paper issues of The Tracer for that year (except 
E-Members, who have online access to the year’s Tracer issues). New members joining after September 1 receive only Tracer issues from that point forward, but their membership will be for both the current year and the next calendar year.
