Century Families of Hamilton County


Century Families Ribbon
Century Families of Hamilton County is the lineage recognition program that is open to descendants of later pioneers who were born or resided in Hamilton County between 1 January 1861 and 100 years ago today. 
 
Century Families was established in 2011 to honor more recent ancestors who made Hamilton County their home and continued making Hamilton County what it is today.
 
  • There is an all-name index for the Century Families for all of the applications approved by the lineage committee. Search this index for any family names and it will show you the file number for the application containing that name. For example, once you have opened a file in the Google Chrome PDF viewer press Ctrl+F to open the search box.
 
Cincinnati History Library and Archives (CHLA) has all of the approved applications on file and the finding aid lists the names within each application. Contact CHLA to see the original application.
