Databases

Our databases available on this website are listed in the following table, segregated by those freely available to the Public versus those available to current HCGS Members Only. Most of our databases are indexes in the form of Adobe Acrobat PDF files, while some of the Members Only databases are in searchable MySQL database format. The PDF files are searchable. For example, once you have opened a file in the Google Chrome PDF viewer press Ctrl+F to open the search box.

The links in the table go to further detailed descriptions of the indexes with actual links to the indexes and descriptions of how to obtain copies of the original records the indexes refer to.

Legend: "Abrv Index" stands for Abbreviated Index wherein enough information is given to show that a record exists in that collection but does not provide enough detail to enable retrieval of a copy of the the record from the original collection at the record repository. "Full Index" on the other hand provides enough information to enable retrieval of a copy of the record from the original collection at the record repository. "Alpha PDF Images" means alphabetized (and searchable) PDF images of the original records.
